You are all members of the Folly, a special and rather hush-hush branch of the Metropolitan Police Service. Tonight, you are working the nightshift and there’s been an “incident” on the London Underground—a workman, carrying out a safety inspection in the tunnel at the long defunct British Museum station, saw something strange that frightened him half to death. And, in the words of Sergeant Kumar, “That makes it one of yours.”

In Rivers of London: the Roleplaying Game, players take on the roles of newly recruited members of the London Metropolitan Police Service’s special magic branch, aka “the Folly.” You will solve mysteries, catch criminals, and come to grips with the “demi-monde”—those who have been irreversibly changed by magic.
