Samoa, 1928: an emergency crash landing - on the civil administrator's lawn, no less - brings the famed German aviatrix Amalie von Cernogratz to Upolu Island. Parts will take two months to arrive, but if a blacksmith could be found, perhaps the plane could be repaired more quickly. Before the Great War it's said a blacksmith was one of labourers at the German plantation near the remote village of Fasita, on the other side of the island. Is the blacksmith still there, and can he help? Time to found out...
