Call of Cthulhu
The Old Ones ruled the earth aeons before the rise of man. Traces of their cyclopean cities can still be found on remote islands, buried amid the shifting desert sands, and in the frozen wastes of polar extremes, Originally they came to this world from the stars. They sleep now, some deep within the earth or beneath the sea. When the stars are right they shall again walk the earth.
Call of Cthulhu is a tabletop roleplaying game based upon the worlds of H. P. Lovecraft. It is a game of secrets, mysteries, and horror. Playing the role of steadfast investigators, you travel to strange and dangerous places, uncover foul plots, and stand against the terrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. You encounter sanity-blasting entities, monsters, and insane cultists. Within strange and forgotten tomes of lore you discover revelations that man was not meant to know. You and your companions may very well decide the fate of the world.
7th Sea
7th Sea is a tabletop roleplaying game of swashbuckling and intrigue, exploration and adventure, taking place on the continent of Théah, a land of magic and mystery inspired by our own Europe.
Players take on the roles of heroes thrown into global conspiracies and sinister plots, exploring ancient ruins of a race long vanished and protecting the rightful kings and queens of Théah from murderous villains. It is a world of sharp blades and sharp wits, where a cutting retort can be just as deadly as a sword’s point.
RuneQuest
Play heroes with RuneQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha. You will be immersed in the mythic realm of Glorantha with characters tied to the communities they support. Walk with gods, negotiate with spirits and dance with dragons, but be wary for even the smallest trollkin can topple the mightiest warrior.
RuneQuest is part of Chaosium’s D100 Basic Roleplaying system. It is intuitive and easy to play: virtually all rolls determining success or failure of a task are determined via the roll of percentile dice.
RuneQuest has no character classes or alignments; characters are defined by their culture, the gods they follow, and the Runes that inspire them.
Pendragon
Pendragon is Greg Stafford’s award-winning Arthurian roleplaying game. As players you take on the role of knights following the chivalric code. Pendragon uses traits and passions that reward players acting as virtuous knights as they compete for glory.
“King Arthur has provided me with tremendous satisfaction and entertainment for many years. Now, I seek to share Arthur’s work with you. Enter into the magic realm. Let those dreams within you stir, come to life, and be tested.” – Greg Stafford
Die With Honour – Dungeons and Dragons
Welcome to the final execution of the mercenary scum and adventurers that claimed to fight for the King of Flanaess. The righteous, the victorious…
Huh. As if! They were barely able to keep themselves alive, let alone be victorious. The last of the diehard adventurers is all worn out, and tired of trying to finish a job meant for an army that is all dead. Soon they’ll be dead as well, but they don’t know that.
The King requires a party of adventurers for one last act of defiance against the evil in Stone Mount. A centre of evil, it took 4 battalions of men – including knights, footmen, archers, priests and Magi – just to halt the wave of demons and monsters flowing from the black heart of the mount into the once rich, now war-torn, land. While everyone else is licking their wounds, you lot (the players) and two other mercenary parties that did not take part in the main battle, are being sent in to the heart of mountain and make sure it is clear… Or not.
Vampire: The Masquerade
Vampire: The Masquerade is a storytelling game of personal horror, and political horror. You play a Vampire. You will constantly struggle to maintain your humanity, and fight The Beast- the almost demonic entity that lives inside you, and drives you to thirst for blood, and to do inhumane things.
You are trapped in a web of machinations of other, older Vampires, which you can neither escape, nor fully understand.
This is a storytelling game about emotion, and exploring what it means to be a monster in a World of Darkness.
Numenera
Numenera is set in the far, far distant future, after many great civilizations have risen and fallen. The Player Characters explore the now-ancient ruins of these civilizations to discover the wonders of these long-lost people. But like Arthur C. Clarke said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic,” so many of the people of the setting–called the Ninth World–look upon the secrets of the past as being magical rather than technological.
